THE SWORD'S PATH

As I walk in a world created by my God, but tainted by my sin, I find it behooves me to share some of my struggle, my success, my failure. But most of all, I find a world which desperately needs guidance. In a world overgrown by vines of sin, we must equip ourselves with swords to find and keep THE path. Our sword is of the spirit, the Holy Words of God.

Rom 13:8 MKJV (8) Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves another has fulfilled the Law.

SPAM (Scripture's Powerful Ageless Messages)

SPAM LIGHTING THE WAY: JUST PASSING THROUGH

Joh 17:16 MKJV
(16)
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Jesus prays to God for us in John 17. Within that prayer, Jesus says the above words. Do you have an idea of the "big picture?" God who is the Alpha and Omega, was and shall be forever, created us to praise and have fellowship with him. We broke that bond with sin and God has been pining for us to remain close to him since. God then sent his son to be the worthy sacrifice so that we all may be in fellowship with God through Jesus. One day, we will not live in a world of sin and sorrow, but will be made perfect through Jesus. This world will pass away and all things made new.....THIS WORLD WILL PASS AWAY. Ask God to prioritize your life every day, so that you don't lose sight of the big picture. We were created to have fellowship with God, sin gets in the way. Our flesh gets in the way. In our walk, let's try to bring as many to Christ as we can. If a friend was on the edge of a cliff, but could not see it, wouldn't you warn them? Well, we have been commissioned by Jesus to warn others of an eternal life without God. Tell them that someday our body will die, but our soul will live on. We are only passing through but have come to fork in the road. One leads to eternal life and the other to damnation. Are we leading any down the right path? Are we even on the path so that others might see? Praise God for His eternal self and thank Him for extending that eternal life to us through Jesus.

In Christ,

Hi,
I've been out of the blogoshpere since mid-Nov. 2004 myself. This post was a good confirmation to me of my priority in evangelism. Happy New Year! Hope you are doing OK.
